Table Top Inventing August 2014 Newsletter

A Word From Steve and Debby Kurti

As our Table Top Inventing Crew finishes up this summer’s coast to coast tour with Inventor’s Bootcamp, we wanted to thank all of the cool and interesting folks that we got to interact with along the way.  We caught up with several old friends and made lots of new ones as we brought maker education to numerous students and teachers.  We can’t wait to see you all again next summer!

Thousand Oaks, CA Inventor’s Bootcamp Wrap Up

The Thousand Oaks, CA Inventor’s Bootcamp was fantastic, and a wonderful way to end our summer tour!   Both teachers and students got to learn the basics of 3D printing, Arduino, and 3D design.   They even figured out how to get celery to change numbers.  How cool is that!  A special thank you to Clark Barnett for putting on the camp with us and to Lang Ranch Elementary School for providing our “Secret Headquarters”!

Make sure to check out all of the camp pictures on TTI’s FaceBook page!

Table Top Inventing Is In The News

The Cherokee Scout Newspaper in Murphy, NC did a great write up of our Inventor’s Bootcamp held at The Learning Center.  The article, titled “Inventors Bootcamp immersing students in emerging technology” gave a nice overview of the camp.  You can read the article here:
